Sweepstake Terms and Conditions

1. General. Lehigh Valley Health Network is the sponsors. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited. By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to all the terms and conditions of these rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. This sweepstake is administered by Times News LLC d/b/a Times News Media Group.
2. Entries. Enter to win between November 29 and December 18, 2024 for the chance to win a Holiday prize pack with assorted children’s gift items and Exclusive Photo with Santa at the Times News Office in Lehighton on December 12. To enter, you must submit your child’s letter to Santa with their name, age and hometown to “Letters to Santa” Times News Marketing Dept. P.O. Box 239 Lehighton, PA 18235. All entries must be received by December 18, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET. All entries must be complete. Entries become the property of Times News Media Group. Times News Media Group assumes no responsibility for lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged, late or misdirected entries, all of which will be void.

The Entry must NOT, in the sole discretion of Sponsor:

• Contain material that violates or infringes upon another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights (including, without limitation, trademark or copyright infringement), without permission;
• Disparage Sponsor or its products or services, Sponsor’s competitors or their products or services, or any other person or party affiliated with the Contest;
• Contain company names, product names, brand names or trademarks other than those owned by Sponsor, which participant has a limited license to use for this Contest;
• Contain the names, likenesses, or other indicia identifying any celebrities and/or other public or private figure, living or dead, without permission;
• Contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, profane, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, controversial or libelous;
• Contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and/or
• Contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to applicable laws or regulations.

3. Eligibility. Child must be preschool to second grade to be eligible for publication. Parents/Guardian submitting on behalf of the child must be 18 years or older and agree to have child’s first name, age and hometown published in the Times News for no additional consideration. All eligible readers that submit between November 29 and December 18, 2024 for the chance to win a Holiday prize pack with assorted children’s gift items and Exclusive Photo with Santa at the Times News Office in Lehighton on December 19. Employees of Pencor Services, Inc., Times News Media Group and their affiliates and their family members are ineligible. This Sweepstake is open to legal residents of Pennsylvania in the Times News and Lehigh Valley Press print circulation territories only.
4. Winning. One Prize Winner will be selected at random and will be announced in a print ad published in the Times News & Lehigh Valley Press after the selection on or about December 19. Odds of winning will depend on number of entries. Entrants need not be present to win. Times News Media Group will attempt to notify potential winner within five (5) business days of the drawing by phone or email. If a potential winner does not respond within five (5) business days, Times News Media Group may select an alternate winner in his/her place at random from all remaining entries received. Except where prohibited, a potential winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and a Form W-9. If a potential winner fails to sign and return these documents in person at the Times News main office located at 594 Blakeslee Blvd Dr. West, Lehighton PA 18235 within seven (7) business days, an alternate potential winner may be selected in his/her place in a random drawing of all remaining entries received. Prize Winner must grant permission for Times News Media Group to use his/her name, statements and image in future promotions, without compensation. If all potential prize winners decline the prize, the prize will not be awarded.
5. Prizes. All Times News Media Group decisions and prize awards are final. Prizes may not be substituted and are not refundable, transferable or redeemable for cash. Prize for this promotion is a Holiday prize pack with assorted children’s gift items and Exclusive Photo with Santa at the Times News Office in Lehighton on December 19. Photo opportunity date and time must be agreed upon by both parties. The approximate retail value of the prize is $50.
6. General Conditions. Participants agree that the Times News Media Group, its respective parents and affiliated companies, directors, employees and other representatives are released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind to person(s), including death, or property resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this promotion or any promotion related activities. To participate in this promotion, winner may be asked for personally identifiable information (i.e. his/her name, address, city, phone number, age, etc.) All information collected by Times News Media Group is securely maintained and is for the purpose of conduction of this promotion or to extend offers and services of Times News Media Group. Times News Media Group currently does not disclose to third parties personally identifiable information that participants provide.
7. Legal. The Sweepstake is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Should any portion of this promotion be in Times News Media Group’s sole opinion, be compromised in administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission for prizes, Times News reserves the right at its discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the promotion. Any legal or equitable challenge to this Sweepstake in any manner voids the challenger’s entry.
