No one was injured after a vehicle caught fire this morning at a dialysis center in Parryville.
Borough fire Chief Mike Kunkle said the incident occurred at around 6:45 a.m. at DaVita Lehighton Dialysis, 770 State Road.
“It was fully involved,” Kunkle said. “They put it out quick, but it was a total loss.”
Kunkle said the fire is believed to have started in the vehicle’s engine compartment.
“It was burned so bad,” he said. “Anything that wasn’t metal was gone.”
Kunkle said there were no injuries, and added there was no damage done to the building.
He said the matter is under investigation by state police at Lehighton.
Kunkle said firefighters remained on scene until around 8 a.m.
He said also assisting at the scene were the Bowmanstown Fire Department. Franklin Township Fire Department was called, but they were canceled.
